Information We Collect

Cerebriq collects information you provide directly, information created when you complete an assessment, and technical information generated when you use the site. The exact data depends on which features you use.

  • Contact and profile details such as your name, email address, country, language preference, and any details you submit through forms or support requests.
  • Assessment inputs and outputs, including test responses, scores, percentile rankings, generated reports, PDF exports, progress history, and self-reported information you choose to provide.
  • Payment and transaction information needed to complete purchases, such as product selected, payment status, billing country, and transaction identifiers. Full card numbers are processed by Stripe and are not stored by Cerebriq.
  • Device, browser, IP address, approximate location, referral source, page views, clicks, session data, and performance telemetry gathered through cookies, logs, and analytics tools.

Operate the product, personalize results, communicate, and improve the service.

How We Use Your Data

We use personal information to operate Cerebriq, score assessments, generate reports, personalize the experience, and maintain the security of the platform.

  • Score cognitive assessments and generate individualized results.
  • Personalize dashboards, saved results, retest flows, and product recommendations based on prior usage.
  • Send transactional emails, service updates, receipts, and, where permitted, product announcements or marketing emails. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
  • Measure traffic, understand funnel performance, detect bugs, and improve site performance through PostHog analytics and internal reporting.
  • Prevent fraud, enforce our terms, investigate misuse, comply with legal obligations, and maintain reliable operations.

Stripe, PostHog, Vercel, and infrastructure providers.

Third-Party Services

Cerebriq relies on carefully selected service providers to run the product. These providers only receive the data needed to perform their services for us, subject to their own privacy terms and legal obligations.

  • Stripe processes payments and may receive billing, transaction, and fraud-prevention details. Cerebriq receives purchase confirmations and limited payment metadata needed to fulfill your order.
  • PostHog processes analytics data such as page views, clicks, performance metrics, and selected product events so we can understand how the site is used and improve conversion funnels.
  • Vercel hosts the website and may process server logs, request metadata, and performance information required to deliver the site securely.
  • Additional vendors may provide email delivery, customer support, or infrastructure support where necessary to operate Cerebriq.

Session cookies, analytics cookies, and browser controls.

Cookies and Analytics

Cerebriq uses cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the service working and to understand how visitors interact with the platform.

  • Essential session technologies keep you signed in where applicable, preserve result sessions, and maintain product state while you move through assessments and reports.
  • Analytics technologies help us measure visits, route changes, button clicks, error rates, and Core Web Vitals through our PostHog setup.
  • Referral and attribution technologies may be used to understand how you found Cerebriq and which campaigns are effective.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may reduce functionality, including saved sessions, checkout continuity, or previously generated result access.

Reasonable safeguards and retention schedules by data type.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

  • Assessment responses and generated reports are generally retained while your account or active result session remains in use and for up to 24 months after your last activity unless you request deletion sooner.
  • Marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
  • Transaction and accounting records may be retained for up to 7 years to satisfy tax, bookkeeping, and legal compliance obligations.
  • Analytics records may be retained in aggregated or pseudonymous form for product improvement and security monitoring.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your data. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Access, deletion, correction, and marketing opt-out rights.

Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate information, request deletion, or object to certain forms of processing.

  • Email privacy@cerebriq.com to request access, correction, or deletion.
  • Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email to opt out of promotional messages. Transactional communications may still be sent when needed to complete a purchase or support request.
  • Ask us to stop using optional analytics or marketing data where local law gives you that right.

Lawful bases, transfers, and local privacy rights.
